New Years

Last year on New Year's Eve we went to two different parties. This year, we decided to take it easy. We had Rachel and Preston over the night before (Thursday) for dinner, games, to exchange Christmas gifts, and to watch a movie, so I wasn't feeling like we needed to go out and do something thing Friday night.

Peanut and I were getting really tired around 11pm and she didn't quite make it until the ball dropped. We flipped between all of the New Years Eve specials and called it a night shortly after midnight.
Saturday, Jan 1, 2011 was spend at Georgia's house raking up leaves and cutting back plants. Her and Bonnie spend the previous day working on the front of the house, so we came as reinforcements to help with the back of the house. We filled over 25 leaf bags with leaves, sticks and plants. She's about to list her house, so we've been attempting to help get the place "show ready." It's almost there. She just has to have the roof and siding guy do their work, rake up the sides of the house....and it's ready.

WOW-you guys hauled a TON of leaves! Thanks for helping out. The house looks really good. I am laughing so hard at Peanut. She is SUCH a cute girl. I miss her so much. Give her a hug for me!
